16 first year product design students of Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) are currently
working on 8 new Fixperts projects. After an intense and exciting 4 weeks work period, the movies
will be presented by the Fixperts in the university’s gallery “designtransfer”.

FIXPERTS was launched in September 2012 after a conversation between James Carrigan (co-founder of sugru) and Daniel Charny (curator of Power of Making) about fixing as a way of thinking. It is an open knowledge sharing platform to promote fixing is a valuable creative and social resource.
Design Basics, Industrial Design, Berlin University of the Arts participates with a FIXPERT project in the Summer Semester.
