A wide scale of Slovakian design production will be displayed. The selection is focused on award winning designs and successful disciplines like product design or textile- and fashion design. Furthermore the exhibition will present graphic design and typography – two fields of design that are evolving dynamically in Slovakia at the moment. Another topic of the exhibition is transport design, one of the most successful design discipline within Slovakia. The aim of the exhibition is also a creative dialogue by opposing current and older works of each designer.
Around 75 works by 25 designers are exhibited. Presented brands include Monada Bagss/Taste it, Novesta, Puojd, Allt, Mejd, Rona, Ton, Tuli, Cubica Zvolen, jewellery by Andrea Ďurianová and Lucia Bartková. Product designers taking part in the exhibition are Patrik Illo, Marika Račeková, Monika Paholková, Kristína Bolčeková, Peter Simoník, Katarína Beličková, Štefan Nosko, Boris Klímek, Tomáš Brichta, Richard Seneši, Ondrej Eliáš, Silvia Jokelová, Silvia Lovásová, Michal Hanula, Tibor Uhrin, Michal Staško, Peter Zvolenský, Martin Bosák. Further the „Dragon“ by Lucia Karpitová is presented.

The exhibition is initiated in cooperation with the Slovak Design Centre, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Culture Ministry of the Slovak Republic, the Embassy of the Slovakian Republik and the Slovakian Institute in Berlin.

The exhibition will be one of the stations of this years DMY Design Spots.
